The career-focused Physician Assistant Studies, M.S. provides you with a strong foundation in science, medicine, research, and transcultural patient care as you build your professional network and prepare for the Physician Assistant National Certification Examination.

You’ll benefit from working closely with our highly-skilled faculty with a combined 70+ years of clinical practice experience in a broad range of disciplines, from family medicine and general surgery to gastroenterology, obstetrics and gynecology, psychiatry, pediatrics, and more.

You’ll also benefit from a number of cutting-edge facilities, including the Institute for Clinical Competence with robotic simulation models and well-trained standardized patients, as well as a state-of-the-art anatomy lab.

You’ll spend an entire year immersed in clinical rotations, gaining actionable experience in well-rounded, challenging, and diverse clinical environments that prepare you for real-world challenges. Rotation spots include outstanding hospital systems and private practices in New York City and Long Island, with flexibility for out-of-state/home-state options.

How You’ll Succeed

For your capstone project, you’ll conduct original research and collaborate across disciplinary lines through Interprofessional Educational Collaborative (IPEC) learning and activities with other New York Tech medical, physical and occupational therapy, nursing, and nutrition students.

Upon graduation, you’ll be eligible to take the Physician Assistant National Certification Exam (PANCE) and prepared to work clinically as a new PA graduate, equipped with sought-after ultrasound skills.
